Govt. of West Bengal
revised the nutrition norms at the enhanced rates w.e.f. 01.03.2009 in the
following manner :

Pregnant & Lactating Mothers Rs. 5/- per day per beneficiary

a) Fuel cost cost of
fuel is spent in addition to the rates of SNP stated above in the
following manner :
i) Rs. 13/- per day
per AWC having the no. of beneficiaries upto 50
ii) Rs. 15/- per day
per AWC having the no. of beneficiaries upto 51-80
iii) Rs. 18/- per day
per AWC having the no. of beneficiaries upto 81 and
above.
An amount of Rs. 35
crores on and average is spent per annum. The entire cost is borne out
of the State Exchequer.

cost of transportation and storage. This amount is also borne out of
the State Exchequer.
